WWU's Josh Ceretti to Lead 'Bellingham’s History From Below: A Virtual Walking Tour' Nov. 10

WWU Associate Professor of Josh Ceretti will lead 'Bellingham’s History From Below: A Virtual Walking Tour' from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Presented by the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County, the Whatcom Museum, and WWU's Ralph Munro Institute for Civic Education, this virtual history walking tour will take you from the arrival of the first non-Native settlers on Coast Salish land in the 1850s through the exclusion of Asian Americans and African Americans in Bellingham in the 20th century and the ongoing struggle for social justice in the 21st.
