WWU's Joseph Myers wins May WTA Smart Trips prize drawing

WWU Facility Services Coordinator Joseph Myers was recently the winner of WTA's "Smart Trips" $250 prize drawing for May.

Myers won for walking to work and riding his bike for errands instead of using a car. Whatcom Smart Trips is a local program that encourages people to make more of their trips by walking, bicycling, sharing rides, and riding the bus. Smart Trips participants earn rewards for their trips, such as discounts at local merchants, certificates for local goodies, and entries in to drawings for cash prizes.
