WWU Veterans Outreach Center is Looking for Students to Join Their ‘Beyond The Uniform’ Panel
Western Washington University’s Veteran Outreach Center is looking for student veterans of the LGBTQ+ community to speak about their experience serving in the military at a panel discussion from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 in the VU 565.
The “Beyond The Uniform” series will focus on stories of those who have served but have been invisible to us for so long. Student speakers will serve on a panel and be compensated $84 for their two-hour commitment.
This event is co-sponsored by The Veterans Outreach Center and the Queer Resource Center.
