WWU to Host Virtual Winter Career Fair featuring STEM on Feb. 11

Students and graduates looking for jobs and internships are invited to participate in Western Washington University’s Virtual Winter Career Fair featuring STEM, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11. Individuals will have the opportunity to connect directly with corporations, non-profits and government agencies via live video chat to discuss internships, jobs and make connections with recruiters and hiring managers. The event will be hosted on the Viking CareerLink platform, to which all students and alumni have free lifetime access.

The Winter Career Fair provides valuable opportunities for students and alumni of all majors to explore internship and employment possibilities with many diverse organizations. It features opportunities in STEM fields, but employers hiring from all industries for roles of all types will be participating. For those who may be uncertain about their career goals or options, the Career Fair is an excellent resource for conducting job market research with participating companies and organizations such as: BECU, Fast Enterprises, PitchBook, Techtronic Industries, Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife and more.

To make the most of the fair, job seekers should establish their Viking CareerLink account prior to the event, research participating companies in advance and prepare to speak to their interests and qualifications. For a complete listing of participating employers and information about how to access the fair or what to expect, please visit the Career Services Center website at: www.wwu.edu/careers.
