WWU to Host Virtual Huxley Environmental Career & Internship Fair on Feb. 24

Students and graduates looking for jobs and internships are invited to participate in Western Washington University’s Virtual Huxley Environmental Career & Internship Fair, which will take place from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.  The Huxley Fair features organizations in the environmental field including non-profit, government and private sector entities. Individuals will have the opportunity to connect directly via live video chat to discuss internships, jobs and make connections with recruiters and hiring managers. The event will be hosted on the Viking CareerLink platform, to which all students and alumni have free lifetime access.

For those who may be uncertain about their career goals or options, the Career Fair is an excellent resource for conducting job market research with participating companies and organizations.

To make the most of the fair, job seekers should establish their Viking CareerLink account prior to the event, research participating companies in advance and prepare to speak to their interests and qualifications. For a complete listing of participating employers and information about how to access the fair or what to expect, please visit the Career Services Center website at: www.wwu.edu/careers.
