WWU to Host Huxley Environmental Career & Internship Fair Feb. 7

Job seekers looking for opportunities in the environmental field are encouraged to attend the Huxley Environmental Career & Internship Fair, which will take place from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 7 in the Wade King Student Recreation Center MAC Gym.

Admission to the fair is free to job seekers and open to the public. 

The Huxley Environmental Career and Internship Fair is a recruiting event that connects students and the general public with hiring managers from over 55 organizations. Participating employers include: Bellingham Parks and Recreation, Camp Saturna, Cloud Mountain Farm Center, Environmental Management Services, King County Department of Natural Resources, North Cascades Institute, Opportunity Council, the Port of Seattle and many more.  

This event provides valuable opportunities for students and alumni of all majors to discuss internship and employment possibilities with participating organizations.  To make the most of the experience, job seekers should research participating organizations in advance, dress in professional attire, and bring resumes.
