WWU to host climate-change discussion Feb. 5 at Bloedel-Donovan Park

Learning Together on a Climate-Disrupted Planet

Wednesday, February 5 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room at Bloedel-Donovan Park (2114 Electric Ave).

RSVP by Friday, January 31st

Learning Together on a Climate-Disrupted Planet is open to those seeking to help others learn about the ongoing threats and opportunities presented by human-induced climate change. We hope to include a wide variety of people who facilitate learning as parents, neighbors, teachers, librarians, organizational leaders, and through other community roles.

The event will be an active social learning space following the Community Engagement Fellows model. This approach generates relationship-building and practical advice, and reveals opportunities for collaboration.

The event is being collaboratively hosted by WWU’s Office of Sustainability, Sustainability Fellows, Community Engagement Fellows, Curriculum for the Bioregion, and Sustainable Communities Partnership.
