WWU students sweep best magazine category with Planet and Klipsun, win individual awards
Western Washington University students swept the category for best student magazine in the Mark of Excellence Awards at the recent Society of Professional Journalists conference.
Planet Magazine took first and third place, and Klipsun Magazine took second. In addition, Western students won several individual awards for writing. First place regional winners will advance to the national round of judging, and national winners will be announced in early May.
