WWU Seeking a Director of Marine and Coastal Sciences

Jack Herring, Dean of Fairhaven College and chair of the Director for Marine and Coastal Sciences Search Committee, is pleased to provide the following information about search activities to date:

The search committee has finalized the position announcement and has published it in a variety of national publication outlets.  The announcement includes a link to the complete job posting.  Applicant screening begins March 4. 

The search committee is now asking the campus community for assistance. If you know of someone who meets the qualifications for the position, please encourage them to apply. In addition, nominations for the position, including names and contact information, may be sent to either Jack Herring, Search Committee chair, or Jennifer Sloan, search coordinator  Also, members of the campus community are encouraged to post the position on listservs of relevant professional organizations – send the information to either Jack Herring or Jennifer Sloan for the files.
