Arunas Oslapas, a professor in the Department of Engineering Technology at Western Washington University, will present "Mind-Mapping: Getting the Most from Your Brain" from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Village Books in Fairhaven.
Oslapas' lecture is part of the WWU Connections brown bag speaker series. This event is free and open to the public.
Mind mapping is a highly effective and creative way of getting information in and out of your brain; it works in line with your brain's natural way of doing things. By presenting ideas in an associative, non-linear, graphical manner, mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making and writing. Unlock the dynamic potential of your brain!
The WWU Connections brown bag series is co-presented by Village Books and the Western Washington University Libraries.
