WWU Professional Staff Organization seeking nominations for executive committee

Do you want to make a difference as a leader in shared governance at Western? Are you interested in advocating on behalf of your professional staff colleagues to improve compensation, professional development, inclusion, and social engagement, among other priorities?

The Professional Staff Organization Executive Committee seeks nominations for five (5) open positions this year. If you have ever thought about deepening your involvement in this dynamic organization comprised of hundreds of members throughout Western, here is your chance! Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague (with that person’s permission, of course) by completing this form.

Please note: if you nominate another staff member, please make sure they are a PSO member. We will contact them to see if they accept the nomination. If they turn it down, they will not appear on the ballot.

Positions open for 2021 are:

• President
• Secretary
• Academic Affairs (AA), Position 1
• Enrollment and Student Services (ESS), Position 2
• Advancement/University Relations/President's Office

Deadline for nominations is Friday, May 14 at 5 p.m.
