WWU employees who reduce driving trips to work this month can win travel prizes

Western Washington University employees who walk, bicycle, share a ride or ride the bus to work at least twice from March 14 to 27 could win a design-your-own Hawaiian vacation for two, including airfare, lodging and ground transportation.

A number of other prizes, including weekend getaways and merchant gift cards, also are available.

Every WWU staff or faculty employee who participates by logging at least two non-drive-alone trips to work between March 14 and 27 will receive a coupon for a discounted stay at Red Lion Hotels anywhere in the Western United States.

To enter, faculty and staff members may visit http://www.wheeloptions.org or log their work trips for March 14 to 27 at https://www.whatcomsmarttrips.org/, where they’ll automatically be entered for Wheel Options prizes. Paper entry forms are available at the Physical Plant and by request from any department or employee. Departments can also request a poster for the Wheel Options promotion or the Whatcom Smart Trips program. Paper entry forms must be returned to Transportation Services at mailstop 9197 by March 31.
