Kelly Bjork will speak at a WWU Design Club event Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. in Art Annex 254.
Bjork is an artist and illustrator whose work focuses on portraiture and intimacy between friends and belongings. She grew up in Tacoma and graduated from WWU in 2009 with a BFA in drawing and printmaking. Her work has been published in numerous publications including The Washington Post, Seattle Weekly, The Stranger, McSweeney's and Sixth Finch. She is also part owner of Pilgrim Paper Co., a paper goods company in Seattle.
