Workshop May 2 to focus on services offered by RSP

The fourth and final spring workshop from Research and Sponsored Programs will take place at noon May 2 in Miller Hall 258. Presenters will be Kathleen Kitto, vice provost for Research and dean of the Graduate School, and Tracey Finch, RSP pre-award manager. Kitto and Finch will discuss services offered by RSP and will cover topics related to the internal grants that WWU offers to faculty, graduate students and undergraduates. They will also discuss how we can be of assistance in helping you get proposals to external agencies out the door.

RSP serves the campus community by offering a number of workshops throughout the year designed to help faculty and staff members write more effective proposals to external agencies. The sessions are intended to be interactive and are meant to build a community for those involved in writing proposals.

The workshop on writing effective proposals to the National Institutes of Health is being rescheduled and will now take place during fall quarter.

Graduate students and new faculty are encouraged to attend.

Those would like to RSVP for the final spring quarter workshop or who would like to be added to the email list for workshop information should contact the RSP program coordinator, Coco Besson, at coco.besson@wwu.edu.
