Why do I have three spoons? Annual etiquette dinner set for Feb. 12

Students looking for ways to connect directly with employers on campus are invited to attend Western Washington University’s Business Etiquette Dinner, which will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

Organized by WWU’s Career Services Center and sponsored by variety of local and regional employers, the Etiquette Dinner is an educational way for students to hone their professional networking skills.

This event is designed to help guide students through the nuances of talking with a prospective employer at a social hour event or in a business dining scenario. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres and networking in addition to a three-course formal dinner. Attendees will also participate in an interactive business etiquette presentation by featured speaker Crystal Stanfield, talent acquisition specialist from Enterprise Holdings. Employer sponsors will be at each table to mentor students by sharing information about their respective organizations, industries and career paths.

Tickets are available to students for $15 each and can be purchased at the Career Services Center in Old Main 280. For more information, please visit the etiquette dinner website or call (360) 650-3240.
