Western's International Education Week programming runs Nov. 16-22

International Education Week runs Nov. 17-20International Education Week (IEW) runs from Nov. 16-22 and is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is an effort to prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences, and is hosted locally by Western's Institute for Global Engagement and the office of Language and Culture Programs in Outreach and Continuing Education.
