Western’s Professional and Continuing Education Announces Spring 2022 Programs

Western Washington University’s Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) has unveiled its spring 2022 courses, including Corporate Giving, Triple E Presenter Workshop, Instructional Design and eLearning Fundamentals and Certificate in Grant Writing. The courses cover a wide variety of topics available via both online and blended formats. Start dates, rates and descriptions vary for each course and can be viewed on the PCE website.

In addition, PCE is thrilled to be partnering with industry leaders such as ed2go, GreenFig and Green Flower to bring cutting edge program offerings to learners near and far. With flexible modalities and focused instruction from top experts, students can build their resume around their schedule. These programs offer a range of options to help you achieve your career and professional goals. Registration is available online. Participants are encouraged to register early, as courses fill quickly. Program pricings for this spring range $525-1,299. 

Corporate Giving is an interactive and comprehensive course of the ways in which companies of all sizes give back to their community, country and world by partnering with nonprofits. The course starts on March 24 and runs until April 28. It consists of six online sessions every Thurs. from 3-5 p.m. Registration costs $995 and closes on March 18. Participants earn 2 CEUs upon completion of the course. 

Triple E Presenter Workshop teaches the art of connecting with any audience to deliver an unforgettable presentation. The workshop consists of five online sessions every Wed. from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. starting on April 13 and running until May 11. Early bird and alumni registration costs $525 and is available until March 23, with regular registration costing $625 closing on March 30. Participants earn 1 CEU upon workshop completion.

Instructional Design and eLearning Fundamentals serves as an introduction to instructional design and eLearning in various contexts. This program is a five-week workshop that runs from May 8 to June 18 and consists of five online learning modules. It also includes three additional online synchronous Zoom sessions with the instructor on Tuesdays, May 10, May 24 and June 7 from 6-7 p.m. Early bird and alumni registration starts at $850 and is available until April 1, with regular registration costing $975 open until April 22. Participants will develop a course or training workshop for their personal or professional use and earn 3 CEUs upon completion of this workshop. 

Certificate in Grant Writing delivers a comprehensive study in prospecting, writing and managing grants. The program consists of eight one-hour sessions every Wed. from 6-7 p.m., starting on May 11 and running until June 29. Early bird and alumni registration is discounted at $1,099 until April 8, with regular registration at $1,299 closing on April 29. Participants will complete a grant proposal with feedback and encouragement from the instructor and will earn 2.4 CEUs upon completion of the certificate.
