Western’s Extended Education Releases Digital Look Book

The Extended Education (EE) marketing team is excited to announce the release of a new digital look book titled “The Extended Forecast” which represents the department’s mission of connecting learners of all ages to the Western experience. Extended Education collaborates with colleges, departments and the community, linking university resources with educational needs and opportunities both on and off main campus.

“We support such richness in programming ranging from youth to lifelong learners and a variety in between. It was challenging to capture the scope of our work in one document,” said Communications Consultant and project leader, Amanda Robertson. “What we accomplished, however, is a visually stunning representation of how Extended Education supports the university by providing breadth of programming throughout the state.”

The look book was designed like a magazine featuring colorful imagery, bold and scripted titles, and clean layouts to reflect who we are.  Lead designer Fabrice Tchékou wanted to both appeal to colleagues and peers while designing a piece that would follow current design trends accompanied by a youthful and modern aesthetic. “This look book came to fruition because of the amazing collaboration and dedication amongst our team,” said Tchékou.

The featured cover shot was photographed by Mark Kienzle, who spearheads EE’s photographic efforts with enthusiastic passion for the art and experience in corporate and sports photography.

“Western is doing some amazing things and we are thrilled to be a part of it. This look book has been a labor of love for EE’s marketing team,” said Rebecca Beardsall, senior director of Marketing, Publishing, and Conference Services. “It is clear from the final product that the team is proud of Western and the work we are all doing to support the university in fulfilling its mission and vision.”
