The Merriman Financial Education Foundation, in collaboration with Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics, will host a lecture titled “Strategies for Success: The Roadmap After Graduation” at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, May 21 in Communications Facilities 110 on Western’s Bellingham campus.
The lecture is free but requires registration at bit.ly/PaulMerrimanEvent.
The lecture will discuss a good financial path forward after graduation, including how to invest money, how to manage student debt and the top 10 simple steps for financial freedom.
Western alumnus Paul Merriman (’66), has proven success as a retired, highly successful investment advisor, will present the lecture. Merriman is the founder of The Merriman Financial Education Foundation, which supports education and tools to treat issues relating to debt and making smart investment decisions.
The Foundation has supported Western Washington University in developing courses and programming that benefits Western students.
