Western’s 2021 Summer Session Available Online to Students and the Community

Western Washington University will host 2021 Summer Session courses online. Summer Session enables community members, including high school students, to take classes through Western without the requirement of admission.

There are two general sessions with different start and end dates. Classes that are part of the six-week session run June 22 - July 30. Classes that are part of the nine-week session run June 22 - August 20. The normal academic year has 11-week quarters, so most summer classes are offered in a concentrated format.

There will be 14 online, drop-in Q&A sessions beginning on March 1 with varying dates until May 5. Sessions will be held Mondays at 9 a.m. or Wednesdays at 5 p.m. Registration and a full list of session dates is available on Western Involvement Network (WIN)

25 undergraduate students will be chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship for Summer Session courses during 2021. Visit the Summer Session scholarship page to learn more.
