Western City Center to be open for Art Walk Dec. 4

The new Western City Center in the Herald Building downtown will hold a special open house during the December Art Walk Dec. 4.

Attendees will have a chance to see artwork by WWU students and alumni, get photos taken with a "festive" Victor Viking and enjoy cookies, candy canes, hot cocoa and other goodies.

The open house will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. No registration required. Western City Center is located at 1155 N. State Street #110 in Bellingham.

The 2,500-square-foot space, which opened in late September, includes professional offices, a conference room and a walk-in public reception area. The site features retail space where Western-branded items can be purchased, a complimentary coffee station with Viking Blend provided by The Woods Coffee, a computer/phone kiosk for purchasing tickets from the WWU Box Office and Athletics, and information desk where the public can obtain information about Western.
