Western Business Summit to Feature Panel Discussion on Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Oct. 26

Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics’ 2018 Business Summit will host a panel discussion with industry leaders titled “Opportunity Rising: Building a Culture of Excellence Through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace” from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 in WWU’s Wilson Library Reading Room.

The panel discussion includes catered lunch and networking hour and registration is required; register at https://alumni.wwu.edu/event/western-business-summit-opportunity-rising.

The keynote speaker is Sheryl Willert, managing director of Williams Kastner; panelists include Monica James, senior vice president, leadership development consultant of Bank of America Global Human Resources; Paul Wright, business assurance senior of Moss Adams; Temryss Lane, Lummi National tribal member and senior project manager of Pyramid Communications; Afsheen Saatchi, senior talent advisor of Starbucks Global Talent Acquisition; and Daman Wandke, CEO of AbiliTrek.
