Western BFA student to hold art show beginning June 3

Kendra Aldrich, a student in Western Washington University's art department working toward a bachelor's degree in fine arts in painting, is holding the opening of her senior BFA art show "Errant Immediacy" from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Overgrowth Gallery, 1206 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham.

Aldrich's work investigates new media technology, communication and painting, looking specifically at how information registers or breaks down through marks and fragments.

The show will be up for the month of June; gallery hours are 5 to 9:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday or by appointment.
