'We Are WWU' group awarding a $400 scholarship to one AS club

Attention WWU Clubs: We Are WWU is awarding a $400 scholarship to ONE CLUB on campus.

We Are WWU is a fully-fledged ongoing effort to raise funds in support of WWU students. The program is ran by students, for students. We Are WWU raised nearly $35,000 in support of WWU in the last three years. This year, those putting on the program hope to add another $10,000 to the amount of money raised to support students.

Previous club winners include the Queer Resource Center after the Pulse Nightclub massacre, WWU’s BRAVE suicide awareness program, WWU Blue Group, and the Ethnic Student Center. This club contest is being held in addition to over $2500 being awarded in scholarship funds.

Submit a club picture that showcases what your club is all about. Please include a short description of why your club should win. Be creative and have fun! Winners will be featured on WeAreWWU’s social media. Deadline for applying is Sunday May, 20. This is a great opportunity to earn money and increase awareness for your club!
