Multicultural Center construction activities for week of March 11th:
- Construction fencing around the main construction zone will extend north into the former Vender’s Row area. Enter the VU via PA Plaza (Virginia Wright Plaza). The entry door just south of the bookstore entry also accesses the VU.
- Vendor’s Row will move March 10 & 11 and reopen at its new location (contingent on permit approvals).
- Demolition of the old bookstore storefront will be noisy and is the start of continuing construction noise throughout the project.
- Removal of bookstore flooring requires materials that may create odors.
- Second webcam (located on 5th floor of Wilson Library) should be operational by the end of the month.
