Vol. 11 of Occam's Razor to be released June 8

Occam's Razor (OR), Western Washington University's student-run undergraduate interdisciplinary academic journal, is releasing Volume 11 by the end of Spring finals week. Vol. 11 will have a virtual release on Tuesday, June 8, on the website at occamsrazorwwu.org. The print version for Vol. 11 (as well as Vol. 10) is completely free to preorder on the website right now. Past volumes are also free to view via Western CEDAR.

Vol. 11 will feature a total of seven essays, five of which will be featured in print and online, two of which are online exclusives. The papers cover a variety of disciplines and scholarship: political science, queer studies,
sociology, history, cultural studies, Indigenous studies, African American studies, and women, gender, and sexuality studies. The students and alumni featured in this year's volume are Avery Garritano (they/them), Emma Toth (she/her), Samia Saliba (she/her), Tyler Durbin (he/him), Hannah Swartos (she/her), Maggie Thunselle (she/her), and Riley Currie (she/her).

WWU students and recent alumni are welcome to submit to OR during the submission periods throughout Fall and Winter every academic year.
