Vikings for Change month continues with The Fair Oct. 14

October is Vikings for Change month at Western Washington University, and one of the featured events is The Fair, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

The event is free and open to the public. Among the highlights:

  • Free local food samples. Delicious soup made with local produce will warm your heart and excite your taste buds.
  • Carnival Games. Win tickets for prizes at 21 carnival games.
  • The Idea Room. Come experience a model residence that will show you how to live a low impact life.  
  • Open networking.  Participate in a scavenger hunt with local sustainable groups.  Ragfinery, Surfrider, and more will be there.
  • Prizes.  We have over $900 worth of prizes for you to win.
