Viking Landing event aims to help students with academic choices

An event set for Nov. 9 aims to help Western Washington University students make sense of the GURs, determine what classes to take next and figure out what interesting areas of study are available. The "Viking Landing" forum is set for noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Learning Commons on the second floor of the library.

Faculty, academic advisors and upper-level students will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions from interested students, who may drop by Wilson Library Room 270 any time between noon and 5.

The event is co-sponsored by the Committee on Undergraduate Education, the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the Academic Advising Center.
