Veterans Day ceremony to be held Nov. 7 at WWU

The Western Washington University community is invited to a special Veterans Day ceremony from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room. A reception immediately follows ceremony, and both events are free.

  • Captain Carrasco - WWU Alumni – Active Duty United States Marine Corps Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Seattle OSO
  • Matthew Swisher - Inactive Ready Reserve United States Marine Corps Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom

Parking enforcement will be suspended in all lots from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. The suspension of enforcement does not apply to reserved or disability parking spaces.
