Vernon Johnson to speak during Western Libraries' Diversity Week

Vernon Johnson, a professor of political science at Western Washington University, will present "Discourses on Race and Class in a Comparative Global Perspective" at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, as part of the Diversity Week events in the Western Libraries.

All Diversity Week events take place in Wilson Library Room 270, in the Learning Commons.

Other Diversity Week events:

1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5: Join Janis and Michelle from the Center for Gender Sanity in Bellingham as they explore issues around identity, language and gender.

1 p.m. Thursday,  Nov. 8: Join Librarian Rebecca Marrall and her students as they discuss the digital divide, information inequity and their LIBR 397 course.
