University Residences seeks volunteers to help with move-in Sept. 15-18
University Residences is looking for staff volunteers from across campus to help provide an excellent move-in experience for all on campus residents at Western from Sept. 15-18, 2022. Shifts are two hours, and signing up for 1-2 shifts is a huge service to WWU as we welcome thousands of students who live on campus. Find out more about volunteer roles on the University Residences website and sign up by Sept. 1, 2022. Interested volunteers are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible!
All volunteers will check-in at one of three centralized check-in tents: North, South, and the Ridge. Instructions will arrive in mid-September on how to locate check-in tents. Please note location for sign up:
North campus tent on Chestnut Street
South campus tent is close to Fairhaven (East/Lower C lot)
Ridge tent will also be close to Fairhaven (lot 12A).

If you would like to volunteer as an office team or if you advise a student club, sports team, or organization that would like to volunteer as one team, we have move-in volunteer shifts available to help students move in their belongings. Please note, move-in times for students are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day of move-in, Thursday, Sept. 15–Sunday, Sept. 18, so volunteer shifts in the morning include set up and volunteer shifts in the evening include take-down.
