Today: Huxley to host panel discussion on careers in environmental science, conservation, and sustainability

Western's Huxley College of the Environment will host a panel discussion of Huxley alumni today at 4 p.m. in Miller Hall 138; the panelists will engage with the audience to answer questions about attaining jobs and careers in natural resource management, environmental planning, green building and smart growth, environmental restoration, and policy development.

The panelists are Derek Koellmann of Anchor QEA, Christine Woodward of Samish Nation Tribal Government, Rose Lathrop of Sustainable Connections, and Bill Way of The Watershed Company, and the presentation, as part of the Huxley College Speaker Series, is free and open to the public.

The Huxley College Speaker Series, sponsored by Western’s Huxley College of the Environment, is intended to bring together environmentally-minded members of the WWU and Bellingham communities. Speakers address topics of contemporary environmental concern in the region and the world.
