The AS is hiring! More than 20 jobs open for fall for Western students

The Associated Students of Western Washington University is accepting applications for the 2021-22 academic year, with more than 20 positions open.

These roles provide flexibility for student schedules, competitive student employee wages, valuable leadership experience, and allow students to make a real impact on campus through the many services and programs the ASWWU offers. Most positions close in mid-July, but those interested should make note of the closing date in the specific listing. The ASWWU encourages applicants from all majors, genders, people of color, people with disabilities, veterans and other candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and with diverse experiences interested in these opportunities. Prior experience in the ASWWU is not required.

Kaylan Rocamora, AS Personnel Director, noted how the ASWWU offers excellent experiences to benefit students beyond their time at Western.

“Working for the Associated Students is a great opportunity that we want to provide to as many students as possible! There's a variety of positions that offer on-the-job training to help you learn and develop project management, communication, budget management, and leadership skills. Every position is part-time, flexible, and understanding of a student's schedule. Being a student employee with the Associated Students not only gets you more involved with the school but also allows you to focus on developing crucial knowledge that will help you after you graduate,” Rocamora said.
