TESOL program to hold info sessions Oct. 22 and Nov. 4

Western Washington University’s Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages certificate program will hold an information session at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 in Western’s Miller Hall room 156 and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4 in Miller Hall Room 139.

Students of all majors are invited to attend, as well as Western employees and community members. Attendees will meet TESOL Program Director Trish Skillman, who will share information about the program and address questions.

Western’s TESOL certificate program prepares students with in-depth training that opens doors to local, national and international career opportunities. Interested students, employees and community members are welcome to trial an initial TESOL course before formally applying.

Students enrolled in the program have the option of taking courses online, face-to-face on Western’s campus, through intensive summer programs in Bellingham and Mexico or through a combination of course options.
