Team WWU Climbs Strong raises nearly $10K as it scales Columbia Tower

For the fourth straight year, team WWU Climbs Strong again competed in the Big Climb Seattle, this year raising $9,299. The event is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Team members included current Western Washington University employees, alumni, children of Western employees and friends of Western.

The average time of the fastest three team members was 12 minutes and 33 seconds. The team's total average was 13:41.

The 2012 team's honoree was the aunt of Cathy Mabee, a Western alumna.
