Symphony Orchestra to perform free concert Feb. 2

The Western Washington University Symphony Orchestra will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, in the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall on campus.

The evening of music will feature the WWU Advanced Women's Choir and horn professor Gustavo Camacho, an assistant professor of music at WWU. Ryan Dudenbostel, a WWU assistant professor of music, will be conducting.

The program will include:

  • Debussy's evocative "Nocturnes"
  • Richard Strauss's youthful First Horn Concerto
  • Beethoven's monumental Second Symphony
