Summer parking lot construction schedule

Monday August 21, following Summer commencement, work will begin on multiple parking lots around campus. Please see below for lot impact, closure duration, and parking instructions for the specific lots.

7G – Partial Closure

Dates of construction: August 21 – August 27

Nature of construction/closure: Sections of lot 7G will be closed for repair.

Parking instructions during construction:

• 7G Permit holders will continue to park in the open areas of the 7G lot. Overflow parking is available in the 3R lot for parkers with a 7G permit.

14G – Full Closure

Dates of construction: August 21 – Mid September

Nature of construction/closure: The entire 14G lot will be closed for repairs and seal coat treatment

Parking instructions during construction:

• Annual/Quarter permit holders: 14G parkers who have active Blue Zone permits will be able to park in any Blue zone lot per the zone parking rules in place throughout summer term.  Blue Zone lots include: 7G, 17G, 19G, and 12A. 
• Commuter coupon permit holders: 14G parkers who use commuter coupons will be able to use their codes and park in 7G, 17G, and 19G.

CBS Lot – Full Closure

Dates of construction: August 21 – Early September

Nature of construction/closure: The entire CBS lot will be closed for seal coat treatment.

Parking instructions during construction:

• Departments and individuals with reserved spaces in the CBS lot can contact Parking Services at parking@wwu.edu or 360-650-2945 to have a temporary reserved space established in another lot.
