Summer Noon Concerts now under way in VU 565!

Summer Noon Concerts are under way in the Viking Union, room 565!

July 18: Daniel Pak - Island Reggae - Love and aloha are the two magic ingredients singer-songwriter Daniel Pak stirs into his songs of freedom that stem from an upbringing on reggae riddims and uplifting island style melodies. Born and raised in Hawai`i, Pak has dedicated his life to embodying the warmth and soul of the islands into every beat, strum, and lyric.

July 25: Moon Palace - Indie Rock / Cuddlecore - Twin sisters Cat and Carrie Biell weave vocal melodies throughout songs inspired by vast landscapes, invisible forces in the universe that affect us all, and how we relate to each other.

August 1: Alki Jones - Americana-Rock - This Seattle-based band hits you hard with a rock band’s powerful grooves and killer guitar solos, strums easy and sings sweetly like a sentimental country act, and exudes the raw emotion and passion of the Pacific Northwest alternative/grunge scene.
