Summer construction projects to be discussed at town hall meeting April 28

The Facilities Development & Capital Budget Office at Western Washington University will present summer construction project information from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in Haggard Hall Room 253.

Most projects won’t begin until after June commencement, but office relocations are already taking place in anticipation of the renovation of the Carver Academic Facility. Other projects with widespread effects include improvements to multiple parking lots and a City of Bellingham paving project on West College Way. Project scope, scheduling, construction impacts and safety concerns will be discussed at the April 28 meeting.

Project information, including project manager contact information, will be posted on the Facilities Development website for those who are unable to attend.
