Due to popular demand, the 2014 Washington Higher Education Sustainability Conference is extending the presentation proposal submission deadline to Nov. 8 in order to give everyone time to get their proposals completed amidst the demands of a new school year.

This is an excellent opportunity for students, faculty and staff to let their work shine at the conference and inspire others. Submit proposals online here.

Help curate the best group of presentations possible: If you know students, faculty or staff at Western who have a solution to share with the Washington higher ed community, please spread the word.

Registration is officially open for the conference. Sign up today to attend the inaugural conference Feb. 6 to 7, 2014, at Western.

Faculty, staff and students also can promote the adoption of sustainable solutions on Washington's campuses by sponsoring the conference. Support helps underwrite this event, gain recognition for specific organizations or institutions as sustainability leaders in higher ed and allows supporters to showcase their most exciting initiatives, programs and technologies to a captive audience.
