Students to share carbon footprint data on Community Food Co-op, local institutions today

What's the carbon footprint of the Bellingham Community Food Co-Op?

Western Washington University students have been analyzing just that, and at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, they'll present their findings in Communications Facility Room 125 on campus.

Also presenting will be students from Bellingham Technical College and Skagit Valley College. Those students will present the carbon-footprint analyses they've conducted for their institutions.

This work is part of the Northwest Higher Education Sustainability Consortium Greenhouse Gas Inventory student project. The student work was produced in a class taught by Western's Office of Sustainability.
