Students may apply to become Board of Trustees member

Western Washington University faculty and administrators are encouraged to recommend that students apply for the position of student trustee.

Each year, one WWU student is selected to serve a one-year term on the Western Board of Trustees, which is the governing board of the university.

The current student trustee is Heather Flaherty, who has a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from Western and is currently a WWU graduate student earning a master’s degree in Business Administration.
