State’s marijuana laws covered in free Western on the Peninsulas lecture April 2

Western Washington University on the Peninsulas will offer “Marijuana Laws and Its Impact on Employers” in its Western Lecture Series at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 in room 105 on the Olympic College Poulsbo campus.

The public is invited to attend the free educational lecture for information on Washington State marijuana laws in relevance to employment and workplace compliance.

The lecture will be given by attorney James McCanna, an expert in regulatory compliance-related challenges and human resource issues faced by employers.

Participants may RSVP for the event online and are urged to arrive early for a seat.

In partnership with Olympic College, Western on the Peninsulas offers four-year degrees, continuing education courses, free educational lectures, local literature book groups and youth programs.
