Speaker to discuss mental health, mental illness and social stigma April 22

Speaker and musician Kai Roberts will take the stage in The Underground Coffeehouse at Western Washington University April 22 to discuss a broad range of topics related to mental health and illness and the social stigma surrounding them.

Roberts will speak about his personal experience battling anxiety and panic disorder in college and the ways in which music greatly helped him to cope. The event is free and open to the public.

Those who are unable to attend or who would like to hear more from Roberts are encouraged to attend the first WWU Black Excellence Conference, scheduled for April 23.
