Some parking pay stations to no longer accept cash

Several parking pay stations on the Western Washington University campus will no longer accept bills or coins effective Monday, Sept. 21. This is part of an effort in Parking Services to move forward with a more efficient cashless system. The goal is to bring on all of the other pay stations and meters in the near future.

Signs will be placed on the pay stations to alert customers that cash and coins are not accepted.

The affected stations are:

• Lot 6V, behind the Viking Union
• The 12A and C lots on south campus
• Lot 32G at the 32nd Street building
