Some campus lots to be closed during commencement June 11

The spring 2011 commencement ceremonies for Western Washington University are planned for 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11, on campus. A memory walk will follow each ceremony; they'll take place at at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Shuttles will run from the 12A and C parking lots from 7 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The following parking lots are reserved on June 11:

  • Lot 8G is reserved for the platform party
  • Lot 10G for media services
  • Lot 14G for faculty and staff
  • Lot 11G for Huxley 
  • Lot 17G the elderly and disabled and those with special needs

Lot attendants and officers will be spread throughout campus directing traffic and holding lots; people can contact them with special needs, directions, etc.

The Visitor Information Center will be staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
