SBDC to hold forum for businesses exploring capital resources Oct. 30

The Port of Bellingham and Western Washington University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are co-hosting a Whatcom County Finance Forum from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Squalicum Boathouse, 2600 Harbor Loop, Bellingham.

The goal of the program is to educate lenders and established businesses about non-conventional finance programs, and how to submit complete loan packages through the services of the SBDC.

Learn about major non-conventional financing programs to get more deals done
Understand who's who for other financing programs in Whatcom County
Network with lending partners, professionals and existing businesses
Understand the free services available to help clients submit successful loan applications

Presenters include representatives of the Small Business Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration, Washington State Dept. of Commerce, Export Finance Assistance Center, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Port of Bellingham.
