Safety committee reminds drivers to be careful on, near campus

The Central Health & Safety Committee at Western Washington University would like to remind campus community drivers to be mindful of speeds when traveling the roads on and around campus. Speeding is a safety concern on all roads. Recent DOT statistics show nearly half of speeding-related fatalities occur on lower speed and local roads. Please drive safely and responsibly by practicing safe speeds, paying attention to cyclists and pedestrians.

To report speeding motorists on campus, please call Public Safety at 360-650-3911. To report violations occurring near campus, contact Bellingham Police Department at 911.
