Russell to present on research in adventure therapy Feb. 2

Keith Russell, as associate professor in the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Department at Western Washington University, will present "Adventure Therapy as an Alternative Substance Abuse Treatment: A Case Study of the Shunda Creek Program" from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, in Communications Facility Room 105.

The presentation is part of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Faculty Research series.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs invites all members of Western's community to attend the series, the purpose of which is to provide opportunities to learn about research, publication of research and the direction research is taking in various disciplines and cross disciplinary areas of the university. The presentations underscore the importance of research development and creative efforts by members of the university community.
