Rivera to speak on 'Borderlands Science Fiction after NAFTA' Jan. 26

Lysa Rivera, an assistant professor of English at Western Washington University, will present "A Future With a Past: Borderlands Science Fiction after NAFTA" at noon on Thursday, Jan. 26, in Communications Facility Room 105.

Rivera's presentation is part of the 2011-12 Faculty Research Presentation Series from the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.

All faculty, staff, students and off-campus community members are invited to attend, and faculty are encouraged to invite their students. The purpose of the presentation series is to provide opportunities to learn about research, publication of research and the direction research is taking in various disciplines and cross disciplinary areas of the university.
